Default Having problems on mission

The mobs in the mission im doing are warrior types with HUGE armor i scratch them even with best axe attacks, what would be best skills to use against these?

Also does earth magic ignore armour? whats diff is i put a earth handle on my axe?.

I need a good heroes/hench setup to take out these monster tank mobs.

I have maxed out my axe/str seems to help a little.

If they're Warriors, they get a +20 armor bonus vs physical, so attaching an ebon mod to your axe will negate it. Note also that +damage (from skills) ignore armor, so you'll deal your base damage (plus whatever armor penetration from Strength for using an attack skill) and then on top of that, the +damage from your attack skill.

Unless you say what mission you're on and what enemies you're facing, I can't really help you more than that. You may also want to refine your skill bar, depending on what you have on it.

For dealing with enemy warriors, you have a number of different options.

A solid choice to help you take down tough enemy warriors would be professions that can disrupt and/or ignore armor. This is something that a Mesmer (most notably those that specialise in illusion magic) can help out with a lot; for example, Clumsiness, Ineptitude and Empathy can all deal armor-ignoring damage to enemies that use attacks. Necromancers also have a wide range of anti-attack hexes such as Spoil Victor, Spiteful Spirit, Insidious Parasite and Price of Failure. Thirdly, although much less used than the previous two professions, smiting monks are particularly adept at dealing armor ignoring holy damage, as well as causing knockdowns (and having the extra bonus of being able to heal fairly well too); examples of the skills that a smiting monk can bring are Reversal of Damage, Shield of Judgment and Spear of Light.

When I play a warrior, I generally set up to hold the red dots relatively firmly in place while my 5 various squishy counterparts (not counting me and the 2 monks in areas with a party size of 8) kill them. So I set up my skill line to be able to take damage, or at least long enough for aggro to settle on me so the monk can heal me without the red dots then running past to RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO him up.

Takes some trial and error, different areas mean different skills and you'll have to get used to having a role other than "LOL, HULK SMASH". With heros/hench this can be tricky since they love to sit right around you, but with careful flagging it can be done. With pugs, you'll have to constantly remind them not to hug your buttocks as you run in.

Personally, I usually play with guildies or my gaming partner, so it works for me.
